The Earth is Talking: Are We Listening?

Climate change, as you’ve noticed, has been dominating the news this summer, generating headlines on a daily basis: record temperatures, heat waves, flash floods, monster storms, epic Canadian wildfires… In the midst of this, Republicans in Congress are trying to defund climate change, still stuck in some upside-down dystopian denial. 

The Earth has been talking loudly this summer; but are we listening? I wrote this piece for The Philadelphia Inquirer, and would love to share it with you.
